We are very pleased to announce that Reverend Dr. Ann Rogers-Brigham will be serving as our full-time Interim Minister effective October 1st. The Interim Minister search-and-call efforts were led by our Moderator, Quentin Baker, working collaboratively with a subset of deacons. Reverend Ann’s call to the Church was approved by the Church Cabinet.

Those involved in the interim search were impressed by Reverend Ann’s experience, as well as her calm, confident presence, thoughtful leadership, and collaborative approach to ministry. She was ordained in the UCC in 1989 and has served in ministry throughout the U.S. and in Thailand. In recent years, Reverend Ann has been an intentional interim minister and has developed a clear understanding of the important work a congregation undertakes during a time of transition. As an added joy, some in the congregation may remember her daughter, Martha Brigham, who was a member of WHCC while living in L.A. nearly two decades ago.
